The Archive
Archive 2026 offers an intimate look into the everyday practices of Purdue University’s 2026 Visual Communication Design seniors. This exhibition reveals how ideas move from initial spark to fully realized form, highlighting the ways we imagine, iterate, and bring concepts to life. By tracing our creative processes–both structured and spontaneous–Archive 2026 invites viewers to explore how we design not only for the present, but for the futures we envision. For my contribution to this project, I focused on curating our typography and overall branding. I developed the archive logo to emphasize our concept of highlighting the process behind the final product. In addition to assisting with the installation of the exhibition, I worked on the binders that documented the sketches and development stages for each of the final pieces featured on our posters. The main banners, which illustrate our creative process for the exhibit, were designed by Sydney Aries, while I contributed to the design of the stylized type used in the banner headers. Overall, our team of 12 collaborated to create a gallery showcasing the outstanding work produced by the Class of 2026 over the course of our four years.
